Gary R. Conroy
Attorney
Mr. Conroy began his professional career as an associate at Gibbons, DelDeo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione (now Gibbons, P.C.) before commencing a fifteen-year association with the Legal Aid Society in New York City. There, as a law guardian, he defended juveniles in designated felony cases and represented them in abuse and neglect proceedings. Additionally, as a public defender, he represented adults charged with crimes ranging from drug possession, identity theft, and conspiracy to gang assault, rape, and homicide. Since 2005 he has been a partner at the law firm of Epstein & Conroy, P.C., where he has developed a practice focusing on criminal defense and family law. He recently won an acquittal after jury trial for a client indicted on murder charges in Brooklyn, New York.
Education
Mr. Conroy earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from Harvard University and his law degree from Rutgers School of Law, Newark, where he served as chairperson of the Moot Court Board after having been a finalist in the school’s moot court competition.

Mr. Conroy is admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars. He is also admitted to practice in several federal jurisdictions including the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.
